As our nation prepares to celebrate its 79th Independence Day, a visionary and significant initiative will take place at the Red Fort. Alongside the Hon’ble Prime Minister, distinguished village heads (Gram Pradhans) from rural India will be present as special guests, symbolizing a strong and far-reaching effort to connect the remotest villages with the Central Government.
It is a moment of immense pride for all of us that this year, 33 outstanding Gram Pradhans from Uttar Pradesh have been invited as special guests to participate in the Independence Day celebrations on 15th August in Delhi.
These 33 Gram Pradhans, selected from various districts of Uttar Pradesh, have set remarkable examples of rural development in their respective regions. They have not only effectively implemented the flagship schemes of the Yogi Government—rural infrastructure development, sanitation, women empowerment, establishment of digital Panchayat secretariats, and community participation—but have also successfully transformed them into reality on the ground.
Through their visionary leadership and proactive approach, they have expanded basic amenities in villages, created clean and healthy surroundings, provided new opportunities for women’s self-reliance, and promoted digital transparency in Panchayat operations. By ensuring direct community participation, they have turned developmental activities into a people’s movement. Their efforts have given their villages a new identity and presented before the nation a powerful, transparent, and progressive model of rural governance.
This honor is not just a recognition of these Gram Pradhans, but also of the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. It highlights the excellent work being done across rural areas of our state and inspires all of us to fulfill our duties with even greater dedication and sincerity. Together, we must strive to make our villages more developed and cleaner, so that Uttar Pradesh can become a model for the entire country.
On this proud occasion, Mr Ramu Gupta (a visionary businessman & politician) also call upon everyone to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a grand success. Our national flag is the symbol of our pride, and this campaign offers us a golden opportunity to express our love and commitment towards the nation. I appeal to all citizens to hoist the Tricolor with full honor and respect at your homes, establishments, and all government and private institutions on 13th, 14th, and 15th August. Do upload your selfie with the Tiranga on https://harghartiranga.com/
Your participation will play a crucial role in building a stronger and more united nation.
Jai Hind! Jai Uttar Pradesh!
