About Indiramma Housing Scheme
Indiramma Housing Scheme was launched by the Honourable Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri Revanth Reddy, on 11th March, 2024, and was initiated under Telangana State Housing Corporation Limited (TSHCL). According to this scheme, the Government aims to provide housing to all the Homeless and Landless Citizens across Telangana, especially targeting the citizens from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and those who live in temporary shelters. This initiative aims to provide secure and affordable housing facilities to all the poor and homeless citizens, along with promoting social inclusion and uplifting tribal & rural communities. As per the reports stated by Officials, the Authorities have allocated a total budget of INR 22,500 Crore for the implementation of this scheme.
Objective of Indiramma Housing Scheme
The main objective behind the Indiramma housing Scheme is to empower all homeless and landless citizens by providing affordable housing facilities, enabling them to lead a quality life. According to this initiative, the Government will give Secure and affordable Residential housing services to all the landless and citizens from disadvantaged groups. With the help of this scheme, citizens don’t have to worry about the issues of kaccha houses as the Government provided them with sustainable residential properties.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be permanent resident of Telangana.
Only Homeless and Landless Citizens are allowed under this scheme.
Applicants should belong to low low-income Group.
Priority will be given to those applicants who have registered themselves under the Praja Palana Scheme.
Transgenders, Sanitation Workers, and Agricultural Workers are also given priority.
Applicants should come from financially unstable backgrounds.
Only one home per family will be provided under this scheme.
Applicants should not get benefits from other housing initiatives.
Financial Benefits
Under this Indiramma Housing Scheme, the Authorities aim to provide financial aid of INR 5 lakh to all those citizens who have legal land to start the construction of the house.
